Anti Corruption Policy
SCI Electric Public Company Limited is committed to conducting its business transparently and ethically, with a strong emphasis on social responsibility and accountability to all stakeholders.
To ensure appropriate responsibility and practices in business activities and prevent corruption, SCI has implemented a written Anti-Corruption Policy as a clear guideline for conduct.
Corruption refers to the misuse of acquired power or assets for personal gain, benefit to family, friends, acquaintances, or any other undue benefit that causes harm to others. Corruption can manifest in various forms, such as bribery (offering or accepting money or goods), conflicts of interest, money laundering, embezzlement, concealing facts, and obstructing justice.
Responsibilities
- Board of Directors: Responsible for setting the policy and overseeing an effective anti-corruption system, ensuring that management is aware of and prioritizes anti-corruption efforts, embedding it into the corporate culture.
- Audit Committee: Responsible for reviewing financial and accounting reports, internal controls, internal audits, and risk management systems to ensure they align with international standards and are rigorous, appropriate, and effective.
- Executive Committee and Management: Responsible for establishing a support system for the Anti-Corruption Policy, communicating it to employees and all involved parties, and regularly reviewing systems and measures to adapt to changes in business, regulations, and legal requirements.
